ANZAC Day is observed every April 25 in Australia, New Zealand, and beyond. It commemorates the landing of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) at Gallipoli, Turkey, on April 25, 1915 — and honors all Australians and New Zealanders who served in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. Dawn services, marches, and ceremonies take place across both nations.
